We're Sam and Kara, and we made a conscious choice to build a life centered on each other and the animals we love. Winston, Wrigley, Nessie, and Misha didn't just share our home across five states — they became our definition of family.
The more we talked to fellow pet lovers, the more we heard the same thing: millions of people feel exactly this way. Most pet communities are built around advice. Gifted Paw is built around gratitude.

Gifted Paw is designed to be a safe sanctuary for pet parents who believe the bond with their animals is one of life's greatest gifts. We're launching later this year, shaped by two core beliefs:

When you're matched, we pair you based on the type of pet you have, their breed, and — when you've set up your pet's profile — their personality, quirks, and what makes them uniquely them. The result? You're not guessing. You're sending a gift to someone whose dog is also a food-obsessed golden retriever, or whose cat ignores everything except crinkle toys. And on your end, you're receiving something from someone who understands your animal the way you do.
As a Beta sign up, your feedback directly shapes how Gifted Paw works before it launches to everyone else — from how gift exchanges are matched, to what features make the cut, to the small details that make this feel right for you and your pet.
When you try something and think "this should work differently" — that feedback goes straight to us. And it matters: real Beta input is how we're building this, not guessing at it from the outside.

Every Gifted Paw story starts with your pet's story. Share who they are, what makes them yours — a name, a photo, the little things only you'd notice.
In the future exchanges run throughout the year, and you choose which ones you want to join. When you're in, we match you automatically — and we'll tell you right away who you've been matched with, so you know exactly whose pet you're celebrating.
You'll send a real, physical gift to your matched pet — nothing digital, nothing generic. The exact gift amount is set to $20–$30.
